Frequently asked questions
Can I use Profoto® and Bowens® modifiers?
Rapida has a native Profoto®-compatible mount. Bowens® modifiers require the dedicated Maxima Bowens® locking ring, included in the Bowens® configuration.
Which V-Mount battery should I use?
Use a compatible 14.8 V V-Mount battery with at least 10 A continuous discharge for up to 150 W, or a 26 V battery with at least 8 A continuous discharge for up to 200 W. Check continuous discharge capacity, not peak current. Batteries are sold separately. IP54 protection requires an IP54-rated battery; other batteries may compromise dust and splash resistance.
What is the difference between the kits?
Every kit includes Rapida, its on-board AC driver, PivotMount, 5 m ultra-flexible cable, ProBag and Quick Start Manual. Body Only adds no modifier. The Bowens® configuration adds the Bowens® locking ring. The Maxima Fresnel configuration adds the Maxima Fresnel for beam control.
What is the warranty?
Rapida has two years of manufacturer coverage, plus one additional year with product registration: three years in total. Statutory rights remain unaffected. Read the warranty terms.
Can I return Rapida?
Direct purchases have a 30-day commercial return window. EU deliveries include a prepaid FedEx return label. Conditions include no more than six hours of use, undamaged goods and original packaging with supplied accessories. Statutory rights remain unaffected. Read the return conditions.
