Terms & Conditions.
Exceptional products.
Clear commitments.
We believe buying professional equipment
should be as straightforward and dependable
as using it.
These terms explain how orders, payments,
delivery, returns and after-sales support
work when purchasing directly from Maxima.
Our aim is simple: to help you make informed
decisions and know what to expect
at every stage of your purchase.
Shopping with clarity and confidence.
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made directly through maximaled.com, where the seller and invoicing entity is Maxima Lighting Solutions BV.
Products and orders
Our product pages describe the principal characteristics, specifications and available configurations of each product.
Please review your selected model, accessories and configuration before confirming your order. The contents of each kit are indicated on the relevant product page.
After submitting an order, you will receive an electronic acknowledgement or confirmation containing the relevant order information.
If an item becomes unavailable or circumstances prevent us from fulfilling an order, we will contact you to explain the available options, including cancellation and reimbursement.
Prices and payments
Maxima's base catalogue currency is the euro (EUR). Where supported, prices and checkout may also be offered in another currency, such as GBP.
The applicable currency and final amount payable are confirmed during checkout. Exchange rates may affect prices displayed in converted currencies.
Applicable taxes, delivery charges and other mandatory charges will always be visible before an order is confirmed, in accordance with applicable law.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. Where instalment or deferred-payment options are offered, the relevant provider's terms and eligibility requirements apply.
Professional and business purchases. These Terms also apply to purchases made
for professional purposes unless otherwise
agreed in writing.
Where a separate business or distribution
agreement has been expressly accepted
by the parties, its specific provisions
take precedence over conflicting
provisions in these Terms,
subject to applicable law.
Purchases made through independent
authorised resellers are governed
by the relevant seller's conditions,
without affecting any applicable
Maxima manufacturer warranty.

Transit and delivery
Maxima works with established international logistics partners, like FedEx and DHL. Shipments arranged by Maxima are covered by transit insurance under the applicable transport and insurance conditions.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination, product availability and selected shipping service.
Any delivery estimates displayed on our website are based on our previous shipping experience and information provided by our logistics partners. These estimates are indicative and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
International shipments may be subject to customs clearance, inspections or other procedures carried out by governmental or regulatory authorities in the destination country. Such procedures may result in delays beyond Maxima's reasonable control.
Should an unexpected delay occur, our team will assist you in tracking your shipment and clarifying its status. Nothing in this provision affects any mandatory consumer rights concerning delivery, cancellation or reimbursement under applicable law.
Weather conditions, customs procedures or other circumstances outside the normal transport process may occasionally affect delivery schedules.
If a delay occurs, please contact us. We will help clarify the status of your shipment and the available options.
International orders and customs
Deliveries outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs clearance, local taxes or additional destination-specific charges.
The allocation of these charges depends on the shipping arrangement applicable to the order.
If you have questions about importing Maxima equipment into your country, we recommend contacting us before purchasing.
Delivery protection & shipping insurance. All orders shipped directly by Maxima are covered
by transport insurance arranged at our expense
for the outbound journey to the agreed delivery
destination.
Should a shipment be lost or damaged in transit,
Maxima will assist in resolving the issue directly
with the carrier and insurance provider, ensuring
that the customer receives the appropriate remedy
in accordance with the applicable terms and law.
For consumer purchases, the transfer of risk
remains governed by applicable consumer protection
legislation. Our shipping insurance does not limit
or replace any statutory rights.
Where delivery is delayed beyond an agreed or
legally required timeframe, the customer's
applicable rights, including cancellation and
reimbursement where available, remain unaffected.
If your order arrives damaged
Please contact sales@maximaled.com as soon as reasonably possible, providing your order number and a description of the issue.
Photographs of the external packaging and affected product are helpful when investigating transport damage.
Prompt notification helps us resolve the issue efficiently. It does not reduce any statutory rights relating to damaged or non-conforming goods.
The confidence to choose.
We want you to feel confident when purchasing professional equipment. That's why direct purchases through maximaled.com benefit from our 30-day commercial returns policy, subject to the conditions below.
This additional commercial offer is separate from any statutory withdrawal rights available to consumers.
| Return protection | Period | Cómo funciona |
|---|---|---|
| EU consumer right of withdrawal | 14 days | Eligible consumers may withdraw from an online purchase without providing a reason, subject to applicable statutory conditions and exceptions. |
| Maxima Worldwide commercial returns policy | 30 days | Additional voluntary change-of-mind returns for direct website purchases, subject to the commercial conditions explained below. |
How to request a return
To request a return under our additional commercial policy, email sales@maximaled.com within 30 days of receiving your goods.
Please include your order number and the products you wish to return. You are not required to provide a reason for a change-of-mind return.
Our team will provide the appropriate return instructions and explain the next steps.
Returns from the EU
For direct orders delivered within the European Union, a prepaid FedEx return label is included in the original parcel.
Please contact our team before dispatching your return so we can confirm the correct label, parcel and return arrangements.
If your label is missing or incorrect, please contact us for assistance.
Collection or drop-off availability depends on the destination and selected service.
Returns from outside the EU
Our 30-day commercial returns policy also applies to direct purchases delivered outside the European Union, subject to its conditions.
Prepaid return transportation is not included under this voluntary commercial offer for destinations outside the EU.
Customers should follow our instructions and arrange appropriately tracked and insured return transport at their expense.
This arrangement does not restrict mandatory statutory rights or remedies for faulty goods.
Conditions of the 30-day commercial offer
Our additional commercial returns policy allows eligible direct customers to request a voluntary change-of-mind return within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for this additional commercial benefit, products must:
- Have been used for no more than six hours.
- Be undamaged and in their original condition.
- Be returned with their original packaging and all supplied accessories and components.
- Be securely packaged for return transportation.
Returned goods are subject to inspection by our technical team.
Where the additional commercial conditions are not satisfied, Maxima may decline the voluntary commercial return benefit or apply a documented adjustment, where permitted by law.
These additional commercial conditions do not apply as restrictions on a consumer's separate statutory right of withdrawal.
Statutory withdrawal rights for EU consumers
Consumers purchasing eligible goods online in the European Union generally have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.
To exercise this right, send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw to sales@maximaled.com before the applicable deadline.
You may use the optional withdrawal form provided below, but its use is not mandatory.
Unless we arrange collection, goods must generally be returned without undue delay and within 14 days after communicating the withdrawal.
Consumers may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Any responsibility for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary is governed by applicable law.
The six-hour limit under our additional commercial returns offer does not restrict this statutory right.
Where our prepaid EU return label applies, customers may use that label for the return.
Refunds
For eligible returns under our additional 30-day commercial offer, the product purchase price is refunded through the original payment method following the applicable return and inspection procedure.
Original outbound delivery charges are not normally refunded under this voluntary commercial offer, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
When an eligible EU consumer exercises the statutory right of withdrawal, the payments required by law, including the applicable standard outbound delivery charge, are reimbursed without undue delay and within the statutory timeframe.
Where legally permitted, reimbursement may be withheld until the returned goods are received or evidence of their return has been provided, whichever occurs first.
Refunds are made using the original payment method unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise.
Our responsibility continues after delivery.
Professional equipment deserves professional after-sales support. Maxima products are backed by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, while statutory consumer rights remain fully protected.
Manufacturer warranty
Maxima provides commercial manufacturer warranty coverage against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship.
The applicable coverage period and product registration conditions depend on the model.
Complete details, including coverage periods, exclusions, service arrangements and registration requirements, are available on our Warranty & Support page.
Your legal guarantee
Eligible EU consumers benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years from delivery, enforceable against the seller under applicable law.
Where goods are defective or do not conform to the contract, consumers may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract, as applicable.
The manufacturer's commercial warranty does not replace or restrict these rights.
If your product develops a fault
Contact our team at sales@maximaled.com with your order information, product model, proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
Photographs or a short video may help us identify the problem and determine the appropriate course of action.
Our team will explain the assessment, service or return procedure before any product is shipped for inspection.
Under Maxima's commercial manufacturer warranty procedure, customers initially arrange return transport as described in the applicable policy.
Where a covered manufacturing defect is confirmed, the cost of returning the defective unit to us is reimbursed according to the applicable warranty conditions.
Where mandatory consumer law requires remedies to be provided free of charge, the relevant transport costs are handled accordingly.
Porque tu trabajo
no puede esperar.
We understand that professional equipment is an essential part of your workflow. When something goes wrong, waiting for a repair can mean more than an inconvenience.
That's why we developed NoDowntime™, our dedicated warranty service designed to help reduce unnecessary interruptions.
For eligible cases, a replacement unit can be arranged upon return of the affected product, without waiting for the complete diagnostic and repair process.
Our support team will guide you through the available options and confirm the applicable arrangements.
Experience Maxima in your own workflow.
Our Try & Buy programme gives eligible customers the opportunity to evaluate selected Maxima products in their own professional environment before deciding whether to purchase them.
A real-world trial
Participation is subject to programme availability, customer eligibility and the specific trial conditions agreed before dispatch.
The standard programme provides a 14-day trial period, unless different conditions are expressly agreed.
The trial equipment remains the property of Maxima until any agreed purchase has been completed.
Buy or return
Participants may decide whether to purchase or return the equipment according to their agreed trial conditions.
Any deposit, collection procedure, return shipping arrangements and purchase options must be clearly communicated before the trial begins.
A failure to return trial equipment may create a purchase obligation only where that consequence was expressly agreed in writing before dispatch and is enforceable under applicable law.
Important: submitting an application
for Try & Buy does not
by itself create a purchase obligation.
Participation is governed
by the specific written trial
agreement accepted before
the equipment is dispatched.
Mandatory statutory rights
remain unaffected.

Product-specific protection ratings, accessory compatibility and environmental requirements must be respected.
If you are uncertain about a particular application, contact our team before use.
Commercial responsibility
For business-to-business transactions, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Maxima excludes liability for indirect or consequential commercial losses, including lost profits and interruption of production, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
This provision does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
It does not restrict statutory consumer remedies or other mandatory legal protections.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by applicable law, including mandatory protections concerning defective products, personal injury and consumer rights.
Transparency at every step.
Privacy and personal data
Personal information provided during purchasing, delivery, returns and customer support is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Questions and complaints
We encourage customers to contact us directly if a question or disagreement arises.
Our team will review the matter and seek an appropriate resolution.
Mandatory rights to use available consumer dispute-resolution procedures remain unaffected.
Legislación aplicable y jurisdicción
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by Italian law.
For disputes arising out of or in connection with business-to-business purchases made under these Terms & Conditions, the Court of Urbino (PU), Italy, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this provision limits or excludes any mandatory consumer protection, including rights arising under the laws of the consumer's country of habitual residence or the right to bring proceedings before a court having jurisdiction under applicable consumer protection rules.
Updates to these Terms
Maxima may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in products, services, business processes or applicable law.
Any updated version will be published on this website.
Changes do not retroactively remove contractual rights already acquired under an existing order.
