Warranty
Maxima Lighting Solutions BV guarantees its products and related components are free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase. It is possible to extend the warranty for a further year by registering the Maxima on our website. In the event of a defect, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. In case of unavailability of the original product, Maxima Lighting Solutions BV reserves the right to replace it with a similar one of equivalent value. This warranty only applies to the first purchaser and cannot be extended to third parties
EXCLUSIONS – The warranty does not apply when:
The product is purchased from unauthorized resellers
The product does not have a fiscal document (receipt or invoice) certifying the date and conditions of sale
The product is modified
The identification codes have been erased, abraded or removed on the product
The defects are due to wear or normal consumption of the product
The defects are due to non-compliance in the assembly or assembly of the components of each product also carried out by authorized resellers
For damage caused by improper use of the product, incorrect assembly, insufficient maintenance or more generally by anything that does not constitute a manufacturing or assembly defect
For the labor costs necessary to remove the product or for its non-use during the repair period
Due to the effects of the marine environment
For damage due to the customer’s negligence in transporting the product
COMPLAINT PROCEDURE:
To file a complaint it is necessary to return the product to the retailer in the country where it was purchased. For the guarantee to be validly effective, the complaint must be submitted within the peremptory term of 8 (eight) days from the identification of the defect.
Maxima Lighting Solutions BV reserves the right to ascertain whether the defect is covered by warranty or not;
Maxima Lighting Solutions BV reserves the right to interrupt the production of previously sold products and to modify them without notice and shall not be obliged to incorporate new features in previously sold products even in the event of return for a warranty claim;
Following a complaint, the product must be returned to the retailer together with the following information:
- Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the complainant;
- Tax document proving the place and date of purchase;
- Precise description of the defect;
- Description of the components used together with the claimed product;
- Declaration of how the product is to be treated in the event that the guarantee does not apply. In the absence of specific indication, the product will be kept available for 10 days and then scrapped.
JURISDICTION: Any disputes arising from the warranty conditions and the use of the product will be governed by Italian law and will be the responsibility of the Court of Urbino (PU), in Italy.
