THE IMAGE COMES FIRST

Make everydetail count.

A reflection placed precisely. A surface given depth. A colour that belongs to the object in front of you. Continuous light lets you build the image as you see it.

ONE DAYLIGHT. A DEEP COMMITMENT TO COLOUR.

When colour matters,every detail matters.

Maxima 6 is dedicated to 5,600 K daylight. Its published colour performance makes it a purposeful choice for demanding materials, portraiture and colour-critical studio work.

COMMERCIAL & PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

Consistency isa creative advantage.

Build a repeatable setup for a collection, a campaign or the next catalogue. See reflections and surface colour before you release the shutter, then refine the light from the camera position.

Light is one part of the workflow. Keep exposure, white balance, camera profiling, modifiers and the surrounding environment consistent to support reliable colour across a series.

COLOUR. FORM. TEXTURE.

Beauty is inthe transitions.

The texture of fabric. The contour of a face. The quiet detail between a highlight and a shadow. High colour fidelity and deliberate light shaping give you two complementary forms of control.

Spectrum helps determine how materials reproduce in colour. Source size, direction and modifiers shape the softness of the light. Exposure and the camera determine how much tonal detail you capture.

BUILT FOR CINEMATOGRAPHY

From the smallest detailto the bigger scene.

Send daylight through diffusion, work into a bounce or create a controlled directional source. Maxima 6 combines substantial output with an integrated body that keeps the power electronics off the floor.

Choose Silent, Regular or Boost to balance output and fan noise. For sound-sensitive work, assess the mode, microphone distance and room together.

THE FRESNEL EXPERIENCE

Shape daylight.Define the scene.

Go from an open-face source to a large softbox, then concentrate the beam with the Maxima Fresnel. One fixture, different ways to draw the image.

Maxima 6 MKII fitted with the optional Maxima Fresnel reflector

01 / OPEN FACE

Start with MicroFocus

The standard optical system homogenizes the source for open-face use and integration with light-shaping tools.

02 / SOFTBOX

Build a larger source

Use a compatible softbox to create a larger apparent source and softer transitions. Softboxes are optional.

03 / FRESNEL

Make light directional

The focusable Maxima Fresnel uses SCHOTT borosilicate glass for a controlled beam and defined shadows. Included in the Fresnel kit.

POWER ELECTRONICS

GaNPOWER

Gallium-nitride power electronics, integrated into the fixture. Substantial daylight output without a separate ballast.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT

UltraCore

A full-copper heatsink with 54 forged fins and managed airflow supports the three operating modes.

OPTICAL CONTROL

MicroFocus

An aluminium collimator and borosilicate micro-lens structure homogenize the light. Included in every current Maxima 6 MKII kit.

Real components. Precise assembly. A direct relationship with the people behind the fixture. Italian manufacturing is part of how Maxima turns an engineering idea into a working tool.

INDEPENDENT VALIDATION · NEWSSHOOTER

Put the lightunder scrutiny.

Matthew Allard ACS tested the original Maxima 6 GaN in September 2023. His review praised colour rendition, construction and the integrated design, while identifying fan noise—especially in Boost—and battery operation as trade-offs.

97TM-30 Rf · Colour fidelity
102TM-30 Rg · Gamut index
96.3R9 · Regular mode

TM-30 adds a view of fidelity and gamut beyond a single CRI score. An Rg of 100 is the reference gamut area; a higher value is not a “percentage of accuracy”.
